Boxing is a tremendously popular sport worldwide, with four major sanctioning bodies and dozens of minor ones, so the broadcast and streaming rights for boxing matches are not easy to pin down.
Unlike basketball (NBA League Pass) and baseball (MLB.TV), boxing doesn't have a one-stop-shop where you can catch every match. Free boxing live streams are almost unheard of outside of betting sites, but most fights are available to stream in one way or another.

Where Is the Best Place to Stream Boxing Matches?
Many sanctioning bodies and promotions interact on different levels in the boxing world. The live-streaming picture for this sport can therefore be hard to wrap your head around due to that complexity.
Here are the main broadcasters that stream live boxing matches:
- Amazon Prime Video: Some events stream on Amazon, but it isn't common.
- DAZN: This service is slightly different from the other broadcasters who own boxing rights. Instead of being a traditional broadcaster that also streams, DAZN is a subscription-based service specializing entirely in live streams. It has a deal with the Matchroom Sport promotion, among others. Some events are pay-per-view, meaning you need to pay for the individual event and the subscription.
- ESPN: This broadcaster has partnered with Top Rank, a boxing promotional company, to air more than 50 matches each year. To watch most of these matches, you need a cable subscription that includes ESPN. Some are available only through the internet-only ESPN+ streaming service. Some ESPN+ matches are PPV.
- Netflix: The streaming platform carries occasional matches, like the November 15 bout between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
- Showtime: This premium cable network features matches from the Premier Boxing Champions promotion and others. Many of their events are pay-per-view, meaning you need to subscribe to Showtime and pay for the match to stream it.
With its long-term Top Rank deal, ESPN probably streams more boxing matches than anyone else, but the numbers vary from one month to the next. DAZN is an attractive option since it charges a monthly fee and no pay-per-view fee for individual matches.
Fox Sports and Showtime also have the rights to many great matches, especially since HBO walked away from boxing.
Live Streaming Boxing on ESPN and ESPN+
If you don't care about specific matches or require access to every single bout, ESPN typically has more boxing live streams in any given month than any of its competitors.
Cable and satellite television subscribers can live stream boxing matches on the WatchESPN website without paying anything above and beyond their regular bill, except for pay-per-view matches. Cord cutters can also gain access to ESPN through many streaming services.
ESPN+ is a separate service from the ESPN cable channel. While you can access it through WatchESPN, you don't automatically get access with your cable subscription. Some ESPN+ matches are pay-per-view, meaning you have to pay for the matchup in addition to the subscription.
How to Stream Boxing on Fox and FS1
Fox airs at least ten prime-time boxing matches each year, and about a dozen more air on FS1 and Fox Deportes. You can stream through the Fox website if you want to catch these matches and have cable or satellite television login credentials.
Here's how to stream boxing matches through Fox.com:
Live Streaming Boxing on DAZN
The next best option for watching live boxing streams is DAZN, a subscription-based online streaming service. It's an excellent service if you're a cord-cutter since it doesn't require a cable or satellite television subscription. It also provides access to a lot of content that you can't get from television streaming services
Television Streaming Services That Include Boxing
If you're a cord-cutter without access to a cable or satellite subscription, you can watch live television through television streaming services. That means you can live stream any boxing match that's broadcast on ESPN, Fox, Showtime, or any other channel, as long as you choose a streaming service that includes that channel. These services work on your computer using a web browser, but they also have phone apps, and many of them also work on game consoles and streaming devices.
Here are the two best options for live boxing streams:
- Hulu with Live TV: This service has ESPN as one of its channels.
- YouTube TV: ESPN is widely available through this service.
Other streaming services will also work, but Hulu and YouTube offer the most comprehensive coverage for Fox, and some services like fuboTV don't include ESPN.
